Epic Games has just revealed brand new WIP in-engine footage from a stage (mark 1:32 to 10:34 on the first video) that will most probably be included in the new Unreal Tournament game. In addition, Polycount’s member ‘Vailias’ is currently working on a Skaarj model that might be added to UT, and has shared an image and a video in order to showcase it. Epic Games has released the first prototype trailer for Unreal Tournament, showing off the game’s Deathmatch mode. As said, this is a prototype trailer, meaning that there is nothing on screen to wow you. Still, this trailer shows that the game’s development is progressing. During its UDK livestream, Epic Games has just confirmed that it is making a new Unreal Tournament for Windows, Linux and Mac. This will be a free title, it won’t be plagued by microtransactions, will support community-developed mods and maps, and will be powered by Unreal Engine 4. And yes, it’s coming from Epic Games itself.
