Great news for Assassin’s Creed fans as Michael Fassbender, the man behind some major roles in 300, Xmen: First Class and Prometheus, will produce and star in a movie adaptation of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed. As you already know, the game’s storyline follows Desmond who learns that he is a descendant of famous assassins after being kidnapped by the Knights Templar. Although we don’t know more details about it, we can expect to see Fassbender reprising both Desmond and his ancestor. And given how famous he is, we kind of expect to see Ezio as Desmond’s descendant. Man, how things have changed. Back in the days, Ghost Recon was a tactical FPS franchise that took place in large, outdoor environments. Fast forward a couple of years and here we are today with a third-person action game that features minimal squad elements and feels more like a Splinter Cell than a Ghost Recon title. Ironic but as you may have heard, this is not the Ghost Recon you knew and fell in love with. That’s hilarious. Like most Ubisoft PC titles, Ghost Recon received a day-one update. This update is said to improve stability in online multiplayer matches, voice chat quality for PCs running Windows Vista, and navigation through game’s menus. However, it seems that this patch brings more problems and issues than fixes, as PC gamers are being forced to use low resolutions and face various issues that have been introduced. Today, Ubisoft announced that Far Cry 3 will be released on November 29 in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and on December 4 in the U.S. Far Cry 3 will be available for X360, PS3 and PC. Ubisoft has revealed a new screenshot for its amazing and gorgeous looking third person action-adventure game, Watch Dogs. This new shot showcases the mind-blowing tech of the game engine, powering Watch Dogs. As we can see, textures are of a high resolution, specular and diffuse maps have been used properly, soft shadows and soft particles can be easily spotted, and the lighting system looks great.
