Steam will end official Windows XP and Windows Vista support on January 1st, 2019
Valve has announced that Steam will officially stop supporting the Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems on January 1st, 2019. What this basically means is that the Steam Client will no longer run on those versions of Windows after that date and as such you won’t have access to your older games that could – theoretically – still run on these operating systems. Valve has announced that the latest Steam Client Beta adds support for the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. According to the team, the Nintendo Switch Pro controller d-pad is ideal for fighting games and platformers and the gyro enhances aim in your action/FPS titles. Steam has revealed its April 2017 hardware survey and from the looks of it, AMD has managed to noticeably increase its GPU and CPU market share. SteamSpy goes down as Valve changes Steam’s privacy settings
SteamSpy was a wonderful tool that PC gamers could use in order to see whether a game was performing well on the PC platform. Truth be told, this tool wasn’t 100% accurate, however it was able to give a rough idea about a variety of Steam games. Steam sets new record for concurrent users, over 18 million Steam users online simultaneously
Steam has just set a new record for concurrent users. A few hours ago, there were over 18 million Steam users online at the same time (to be precise, there were 18,528,722 users). The previous 17 million milestone was set back in November 2017, and it took almost one and a half months in order to hit the 18 million goal.
