As we’ve already claimed in our PC Performance Analysis, NieR: Automata suffers from a lot of low-resolution textures. Thankfully, this may change in the near future as Steam member ‘GPUnity’ is currently working on the first HD texture pack for it. First HD texture pack for Rise of the Tomb Raider released, updates over 70 textures
Modder ‘veironn’ has released the first HD texture pack for Rise of the Tomb Raider. This texture pack updates over 70 textures, mainly for Lara’s skin and clothes. However, and contrary to most texture packs, this one replaces the old designs with brand new ones (it also adds tattoos to Lara). In an interview with PCGamer, Hajime Tabata stated that the PC version of Final Fantasy XV will run with no problems on older PC systems. While Tabata did not reveal the settings with which owners of older systems will be able to play, he did say that a three or four-year old PC. Hajime Tabata warns that nude mods may affect the moddability of future Final Fantasy games
Square Enix appears to be ready to support modders in the PC version of Final Fantasy XV. And while back in August Hajime Tabata claimed that nude mods are left up to the moral sense of all the players, he went ahead and re-stated – during this year’s PAX West event – that such mods will most likely have a negative affect on the moddability of future Final Fantasy games.
