A couple of months (or years) ago, Square Enix’s classic 3D Final Fantasy games appeared on Steam’s registry. As always, most of us thought that it was a matter of time before they’d hit Valve’s distribution service but unfortunately, they have not appeared yet. After Square Enix’s reveal of the groundbreaking Agnis Philosophy tech demo, a lot of people began wondering whether that was truly real-time footage or not. Let’s not forget that when the video starts, we’re welcomed with a message which read that this is just a video from a real-time tech demo. E3 2012 – Square Enix presents an impressive tech demo called ‘Agni’s Philosophy’

Following Nvidia’s drooling Dawn Tech Demo, today we present you Square Enix’s latest tech demo called ‘Agni’s Philosophy’. Agni’s Philosophy was created with a new engine from Luminous Studios and shows off some gorgeous real-time graphics that come really close to pre-rendered CG visuals. As the title of the video suggests, this engine will most likely be used for a new Final Fantasy game. Although there are no further details about, we do know that the engine is scaleable and supports a variety of platforms (from PC to tablets). Special thanks to our reader ‘Frank’ for spotting it. E3 2012 – Tomb Raider – Microsoft Conference Gameplay Footage

Crystal Dynamics showcased Tomb Raider at Microsoft’s E3 2012 Conference and you can watch below some brand new gameplay footage of it. As it’s pretty obvious, this is an Uncharted clone in every possible way. Apart from that though, this new Tomb Raider game comes with good combat mechanics, great physics effects (although at the end of the footage, the environmental physics are all over the place), destructible environments and vertical combat gameplay. Tomb Raider – E3 2012 Crossroads Trailer; Coming in March 5th 2013

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have revealed the full new “Crossroads” E3 trailer for Tomb Raider and announced that the game will hit the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on March 5, 2013. This new Tomb Raider game is basically a reboot of the series and looks very similar to Uncharted. Don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing. Original Portal creator Kim Swift’s Quantum Conundrum is now available for pre-purchase

Great news for puzzle fans as Quantum Conundrum, the upcoming puzzle game from Portal’s creator Kim Swift, is now available on Steam for pre-purchase. The game comes with a 10% discount and those who pre-order it will receive three exclusive items (Atomic Accolade, Quadwrangler, and Professor’s Pineapple) in Team Fortress 2. In addition, you can grab the Season Pass and receive the full game, soundtrack, and two upcoming DLC’s for it. In other words, Airtight Games and Square Enix have already planned the game’s DLCs that will cost you additional money. Awesome, right? Hitman Absolution – Attack of the Saints E3 2012 Trailer

As promised, IO Interactive and Square Enix have released the E3 trailer for their action stealth third person shooter game, Hitman: Absolution. In this trailer we witness Agent 47 treating his wounds in a run-down motel room. Meanwhile, his former employer, the ICA, send a deadly specialized wetworks team after him: “The Saints.” The ICA wants 47 dead, but that’s easier said than done. Sleeping Dogs – 101 Trailer

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Sleeping Dogs. In the 101 trailer, Square Enix delve deep into every aspect of the game from the brutal martial arts combat to the intense vehicle shoot-outs and street races, the wealth of side content and social features to the girls, guns and gambling dens.
