Well lookie here, we got us a new PC update for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. And no, we are not kidding. Nixxes and EIDOS Montreal have just released a new patch for the PC version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution that reduces the stuttering in the game, improves parallelism with the graphics driver on multi-core machines, improves SSAO, and resolves various issues with Nvidia’s 3D Vision. Square Enix revealed today its FY12 Financial Results and according to the report, Square Enix’s Digital Entertainment division was boosted by some incredible sales figures for both Deus Ex and Final Fantasy XIII-2. As of September last year, Deus Ex had sold more than 2.18 million copies across all territories after releasing in August. We are pretty sure though that the number is way higher, as the company has not updated the total figure since then. And another one bites the dust. Crystal Dynamics have unveiled – a couple of hours ago – the the highly anticipated reboot of Tomb Raider will be pushed back to 2013. According to Darrell Gallagher, Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics, when Crystal Dynamics first set out to reboot the Tomb Raider franchise, there were two goals that they were extremely passionate about. The first was to create a modern Tomb Raider game that would surprise and excite gamers. Square Enix and IO Interactive have unveiled – via the game’s FB page – that Hitman: Absolution will release world-wide on November 20th 2012. Those of you who pre-order the game will get the Hitman: Sniper Challenge instantly. The code will be redeemable from May 15th on PS3 and Xbox360, August 1st on PC through Steam and you can view its debut trailer after the jump. Square Enix has released a new trailer for the latest part of the Hitman franchise, Hitman: Absolution. In this video, the company showcases how agent 47 can deal with his enemies. Long story short, players will be able to take their enemies out silently or violently. Hitman: Absolution is slated for a 2012 release on current generation consoles and PC and looks quite promising. Let’s just hope that the AI will be sharp and challenging. Oh man, now that’s a true classic game. Crystal Dynamics’ Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver has been re-released on GoG and is priced at 5.99 euros. As with all GoG titles, Soul Reaver is compatible with both 32bit and 64bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. In case you have not played this classic game, players take the role of Raziel, one of Kain’s lieutenants. Raziel has been “blessed” with something no other vampire has, wings. Kain, being evil and jealous vampire, punished Raziel for this gift. Jealous Kain tore off Raziel’s wings and cast him down into the Lake of the Dead. A millenium has passed while Raziel lay forgotten before he is brought back to existence by The Elder God. He becomes a soul reaver with one purpose and one purpose only: to kill Kain.
