Square Enix has released a new gameplay video for Crystal Dynamics’ upcoming reboot to the Tomb Raider series. In this video, Lara makes her way from a Monastery to the edge of a Scavenger shanty town, using the environment to succeed in brutal combat. Darrell Gallagher, Studio Head had also a message to share, in which he thanked the fans for their enthusiasm and their support, and believes that they’ve created something that explores Tomb Raider’s history while pushing the limits in interactive storytelling and design. A new multiplayer video (courtesy of VG247) for Tomb Raider surfaced today, and we have to say that we were a bit disappointed with what we saw as it is pretty clear that this mode is a complete rip-off from the MP mode of Naughty Dogs’ PS3 exclusive title, Uncharted 2 (and 3). Not only that, but the animations that were showcased were awful – to say the least. This is really surprising, considering that EIDOS Montreal is developing the MP mode of Tomb Raider. Square Enix and Nixxes Software have released a new PC update for Hitman: Absolution. According to its changelog, this patch offers performance enhancements on various hardware configurations.
