The team behind Reshade has released a brand new version of it that is available for download. According to the team, Reshade 5.0 is a major rewrite of the underlying architecture, for improved performance, easier maintenance and future feature additions. Modder accidentally leaks Pascal “Marty McFly” Gilcher’s Reshade Ray Tracing Mod to the public

As you may very well know, Pascal “Marty McFly” Gilcher’s Reshade Ray Tracing Mod is currently in alpha stage and behind a Patreon wall. However, it appears that a modder has accidentally leaked this Reshade Mod to the public. This basically means that you can now use this “fake” Ray Tracing Mod in pretty much all games. Modder has ported AMD’s new Image Sharpening to Reshade, allowing all NVIDIA & AMD gamers to use it

One of the new features that the new NAVI GPUs support is a special sharpening filter created by AMD. Now even though the red team has locked this feature for all other GPUs in its drivers, a modder was able to port it to Reshade and allow all NVIDIA and AMD gamers to use it and enhance their games. New Reshade mod aims to bring ray tracing Global Illumination to DX9, DX10 and DX11 games

Pascal Gilcher is currently working on a ray traced Global Illumination method for ReShade. What this ultimately means is that PC gamers will be able to enable this ray tracing Global Illumination technique in all DX9, DX10 and DX11 (something that will obviously give a visual boost to a lot of older games). Reshade 4.0 is now available for download, features rewritten ReShade FX compiler from ground up

Crosire has released a brand new version of Reshade, Reshade 4.0. For Reshade 4.0, crosire rewrote ReShade FX compiler from the ground up to generate SSA code making it fully standalone, blazing fast, and featuring much better error recovery. What’s really cool here though is that this compiler paves the future for Vulkan support (so hopefully we’ll also get support for DX12?).
