It has been more than a year since the console release of Red Dead Redemption 2 and less than a month, since the PC release on the Epic store and the Rockstar launcher. Now Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on Steam on December 5th.
Rockstar has released a brand new update for the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 that weights around 2.91GB in size. The November 13th update adds an additional launch argument to rebalance workload on the CPU cores and avoid hitting an edge-case in certain NVIDIA graphics card drivers that causes significant stalls on 4-core and 6-core CPUs. A lot has been said these days about the rocky launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 on the PC. The game initially suffered from major crash issues that Rockstar was able to fix a couple of days ago. However, and after applying its latest update, we have not experienced any stability issues on our PC systems. Therefore, it’s time to benchmark the game and see how it performs on the PC platform.
