Quake Champions will be free to play, will let players purchase all champions via Champion Pack
id Software’s Tim Willits revealed that Quake Champions will be a free-to-play title, though in order to gain access to all champions, players will have to purchase the Champions Pack. In its free-to-play version, gamers will be able to play as only one Champion, the Ranger. Quake Champions is not powered by id Tech 6
When Quake Champions was announced, everyone assumed that this new arena shooter would be powered by id Software’s latest engine, the id Tech 6. Well, it appears that won’t be the case.
