Nvidia GeForce 385.69 WHQL driver out, optimized for all the latest games

NVIDIA has released a new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, this new driver offers the optimal gaming experience for Project Cars 2, Call of Duty: WWII open beta, Total War: WARHAMMER II, Forza Motorsport 7, EVE: Valkyrie – Warzone, FIFA 18, Raiders of the Broken Planet, and Star Wars Battlefront 2 open beta. Project CARS 2 does not use Denuvo as it’s too “restrictive” and would “annoy” its users

Slightly Mad Studios’ Ian Bell has revealed that their new sim racing game, Project CARS 2, will not be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Our reader ‘Raphael’ has shared with us some new screenshots, downsampled from 8K, from the latest beta build of Project CARS 2. Project CARS 2 promises to look and run better optimized than the first game. The game is powered by the MADNESS Engine and is currently planned for a September 22nd release. Project CARS 2 – Gamescom 2017 Screenshots

Bandai Namco has released the Gamescom 2017 screenshots for Project CARS 2. Project CARS 2 promises to look and run better than its predecessor, will feature 180 cars, 60 locations, 130 layouts, and a new Career mode with fan-desired improvements, careful refinements and all-new features. Project CARS 2 versus Assetto Corsa – Video Graphics Comparison

YouTube’s ‘Racing At Home’ has shared a new video, comparing the visuals and audio of Project CARS 2 and Assetto Corsa. Now while Project CARS 2 appears to be visually a bit better than Assetto Corsa, there is one visual effect missing and that is the sun reflection. Apart from that, there are minor differences between these games and to be honest I am a bit surprised that Assetto Corsa is able to hold its own against Project CARS 2. Perhaps we are entering the realm of diminishing returns in racing games or something. But anyway, you can view the comparison video after the jump! Project CARS versus Project CARS 2 – Video Graphics Comparison

YouTube’s ‘Racing At Home’ has shared a new comparison video between Project CARS and Project CARS 2. While Project CARS 2 is said to be running great on the PC, we can clearly see that there isn’t any noticeable graphical upgrade between these two titles. Okay okay, that’s an exaggeration and we are pretty sure that under the hood the game features more advanced graphical effects than its predecessor. However, the visual difference is minimal at best.
