Kombatants, get ready for a treat. The first screenshots from the PC version of Mortal Kombat have been revealed and our reader ‘TensiKashi’ has just sent them to us. Mortal Kombat is currently planned for a July 3rd release and will feature dynamic gameplay including Tag Team, Challenge Tower and a full feature length story mode. Players choose from an extensive lineup of the game’s iconic warriors and challenge their friends in traditional 1 vs. 1 matches, or gamers can spectate battles and interact directly with Kombatants online during the King of the Hill mode. The game supports the Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition Fight Stick and delivers full controller capability. Players will also be able to access achievements and leaderboard stats. Enjoy! Back in 2012, we were criticized for letting everyone know that there was a possibility for a PC version of Mortal Kombat. Get ready kombatants as the second season of Mortal Kombat: Legacy is almost upon us. In order to hype this second season, Machinima has released a new trailer for it that can be viewed below. The characters that will be featured in this second season are: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Ermac, Shang Tsung, Liu Kang, Mileena, Kitana, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kenshi, Johnny Cage and Stryker. Now this is a nice surprise. Our reader Gianluca Manocchio has informed about an interesting entry on ShopTo. As we can see, this online store has listed Injustice: Gods Among Us for the PC, even though the game has been announced for X360 and PS3. Since NetherRealm has not confirmed anything – and since we know that they don’t give a damn about the PC platform – we advice you take it with a grain of salt. Man, it’s been 20 years since the release of the first Mortal Kombat game. Some hated it, others loved it. Personally, I loved all 2D versions of this legendary series and I still remember visiting the arcades to play Mortal Kombat 2. Or how about the cencored SNES version of MK1 that was – kind of – awful? Or the way the media advertised it, stating that this game would turn us into psychopaths? Ah, the memories. But anyway.
