Namco Bandai announced today that its free-to-play version of Ridge Racer, Ridge Racer Driftopia, is currently under an open beta phase. This means that the game is available to everyone on both PC and PS3. PC gamers will need to download the game via Steam. NAMCO Bandai announced today, that NARUTO Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst for PC and Full Burst DLC for PS3 and X360 are coming to Europe on October 25th. Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Dark Souls 2 that covers the Gamescom 2013 Community Event that was held on August 21 & 22, featuring new, never before seen, gameplay footage from Dark Souls 2. Dark Souls 2 promises to be as hard as its predecessor, while being more accessible to newcomers. Players will also discover a revamped server based multiplayer experience that will put a distinct Dark Souls II twist on the concept of playing and sharing with others. Now this is something cool and weird at the same time. YouTube’s member ‘SOULSLASHA’ is working on a mod for Dark Souls that will let players play it via a first person perspective viewpoint. As the modder suggests, this is a love hate relationship; while it certainly looks cool at times, it will make you dizzy the moment you perform a roll. And time for another confirmation. Remember when the PC version of NARUTO Shippuden was leaked from Steam’s registry? Well, Namco Bandai announced today the official debut of the franchise on PC with NARUTO Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst heading to our platform this winter 2013. The enhanced edition of the acclaimed title will also be available at retail for PS3 and X360, while existing owners of the console game will be able to download the new content as a DLC pack. Okay Dark Souls fans, we’ve got some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that Dark Souls 2 got a target release date. The bad news is that the sequel to one of the hardest RPGs won’t be coming anytime soon. Namco Bandai has confirmed to Eurogamer that Dark Souls 2 is currently planned for a March 2014 release on current-gen systems and PC. Namco Bandai announced that its arcade-style droid shooter, Hexodius, is heading to PC this June 21st via Steam, and will launch on Xbox Live in autumn 2013.
