NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 has just been released on the PC and, as you may have guessed from the title, it is locked at 30fps. Not that it really surprises as this is another game from Bandai Namco that is locked at 30fps, however after what has happened with the previous part of the series (and Dark Souls) you’d exepect that Bandai Namco would have learned its lesson. Modder “Durante” has been able to fix Tales of Symphonia’s locked resolution in just 14 minutes. Yeap, you read that right. It took Durante just 14 minutes to fix this issue, and around three hours to release a preliminary version of his mod that unlocks the game’s resolution, something that clearly shows what little effort was put into it. Tales of Symphonia has just been released on the PC and… it’s a mess. According to various reports, the game’s internal resolution is locked at 720p and its framerate is locked at 30fps. Moreover, there are lots of typos in the PC version; typos that weren’t present in the PS3 version (from which the PC version was ported). Bandai Namco has released the launch trailer (which is basically the game’s intro) for NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4.
