Halo 3 is close to being fully emulated, video comparison between PC DX12 and original X360 versions

Halo 3 is a game that a lot of PC gamers wanted to play (especially since Halo 1 and 2 came out on our platform) and it appears that this will be possible in 2019 via the Xenia Xbox 360 emulator. YouTube’s ‘Emulators for PC’ has shared a video comparing the original X360 version with the emulated Xenia version using the DX12 API. Halo Infinite’s Slipspace Engine developed with PC in mind; PC gamers to be treated as first-class citizens

In its recent Stream VOD, 343 Industries announced that the Slipspace Engine, the engine powering Halo Infinite, was developed with PC in mind. Blind Squirrel Games has released the second PC patch for Sunset Overdrive. This new patch addresses some of the issues that PC gamers have already reported, like the fog options not popping the apply options when changed in the lobby options screen and the active save file having a chance to be deleted during gameplay. In an interview with Windows Central, Microsoft’s Joseph Staten revealed that Crackdown 3 will not feature any microtransactions or loot boxes. Now while there will be things to unlock, Microsoft appears to be moving away from these controversial ways via how you can earn new in-game stuff… at least for now.
