And it is official everyone. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is officially coming to the PC platform, Hideo Kojima has announced. This confirmation came via today’s Hideradio and was spotted by GameChup. Kojima did not reveal further details about the PC version, or when it is expected to be released. Well, we all knew it but it’s nice to see an official confirmation of it. After all those rumors and speculations, Kojima and Konami have officially revealed that Metal Gear Solid 5 is The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes combined into one game. Kojima has showcased MGS5 at this year’s GDC on a PC with a X360 controller, meaning that there is already a PC version up and running. Unfortunately, MGS 5: The Phantom Pain is currently announced for X360 and PS3, and we cannot understand why Konami is not confirming the PC version that was showcased. Well, we know that a lot of PC gamers wished for a port of the first Castlevania: Lords of Shadow the moment Konami revealed that its sequel will be hitting PC. And even though the Japanese company did not reveal anything about it, it seems it will be indeed coming to our platform. Or at least that is according to Steam’s registry. Brandon Laatsch and Freddie Wong have created a mind-blowing live-action short for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. This short film is so good that will make you wonder why these guys have not been hired by triple-A studios to create full length movies. The latest issue of EDGE has been sent to subscribers and thankfully, some of them have shared the first information about Konami’s upcoming soccer title. The good news is that the game is based on the FOX Engine, however it is considered now as a new engine due to Konami’s tweaks and enhancements. The game will use a new physics engine and collisions will be better than ever. Konami is aiming for photo-realistic graphics, and the game is built on three pillars. Konami has just revealed – via the game’s official FB page – that the new engine that will be powering the next Pro Evolution Soccer game will be unveiled next week. According to the Japanese company, the next Edge magazine will have the first information about it and will be released on March 14th. It seems that a PC version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is already up and running at Konami’s HQ, despite the fact that the game was announced for consoles only.
