Intel’s discrete graphics cards codenamed Xe, first GPUs coming in 2020

During the Architecture Day 2018, Intel revealed that its new discrete graphics cards will be codenamed Xe (or Xe if you prefer). Now do note that this is the name of the architecture and not how the GPUs will be named for the market (pretty much like what Turing is to NVIDIA’s RTX graphics cards). New “proper” Intel Core i9 9900K vs AMD Ryzen 7 2700X benchmarks released across 19 games

A few days ago, Principled Technologies released some inaccurate benchmarks between the upcoming Intel Core i9 9900K CPU and the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X. Principled Technologies used the Game Mode for AMD’s CPU which basically halved its available CPU cores, resulting in some really underwhelming and “fake” results. And after a huge backlash, the company went ahead and re-tested the games without this mode. First Intel Core i9 9900K gaming benchmarks published by Intel, appear to be misleading

Intel has published the first gaming benchmarks for its new Intel Core i9 9900K processor, however it appears that these benchies are a bit misleading. These benchmarks were contacted by Principled Technologies and the games that were tested were: Total War: Warhammer 2, Far Cry 5, Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Civilization VI, Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG, Rise of the Tomb Raider, WoW: Battle for Azeroth, Fortnite, Forza Motorsport 7, Ashes of the Singularity and Counter Strike GO.
