Okay everyone, this is the most impressive kill we’ve ever seen in Battlefield 3. YouTube’s member ‘t4ct1x1’ (with the help of ObnoxiousBrony, No_Other_xD, AkaXBubba and Nightwing) has managed to destroy the AC-130 plane in the most stylish way. These guys used an ATV and some C4 explosives. Oh, and get this; this kill was done with the PS3 version of Battlefield 3. Well done guys, well done! Let’s get one thing straight from the beginning; NFS: Most Wanted is a mess. Seriously now, this is perhaps the worst console port of 2013, and could very well rival Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition in terms of how un-optimized it is for the PC platform. Of course, this could very well change with a proper PC patch. However, this seems unlikely and that’s precisely why we decided to give Criterion some extra weeks before bringing the hammer down on it. Yes, Need For Speed: Most Wanted is an awful port and has major tech issues. Continue reading Need For Speed: Most Wanted – PC Performance Analysis→

Today we bring you new shots from the works of ReVan1199, matthewhxq, iSqueezee, axeldev, walid-payne, Tom Yum 72, hostilis, Synce, Wesley Mackinder and Scott Homer. The highlight of this week is the updated images of Scott Homer’s Bioshock project, as well as the Skyrim video of CrydaVinci. We’ve featured Scott Homer’s work and in the past, so it’s great to see that the Crytek artist is still working on it. Scott plans to release a video at a later date and we’ll be sure to keep you posted. It’s also great to see artists from other studios – like Wesley Mackinder who currently works at Rockstar North – experimenting with Crytek’s proprietary engine. Enjoy! It’s been a while since we shared a fan-made BF3 video. So, today we bring you a new take on the classic RendeZook video that shocked everyone a couple of months ago. Hoi Kan took this gorgeous kill technique another step forward, as he used it to destroy the AC-130. It looks stunning, though it’s not as mind-blowing as the original video. Still, it’s cool so go ahead and take a look! Continue reading Battlefield 3 – Stunning Kill – RendeZook vs AC-130→
Okay, this is not much but what the hell; it’s the first screenshot of Dragon Age 3 so let’s all celebrate it, even though we can’t see much as everything looks a bit blurry. Perhaps too blurry. And low-res. And why didn’t BioWare reveal the raw image this morning? And why are they teasing us? Let’s all bash BioWare for doing this. Boooooo BioWare for treating us like that, we hate you. No we love you, but we hate you. Oh bummer. Continue reading First – off-screen – screenshot from Dragon Age 3: Inquisition→
Electronic Arts and Crytek have released a new SP trailer for Crysis 3. In all seriousness, Crysis 3 looks astounding and beyond anything we’ve ever seen (at least in terms of visuals for vanilla PC games). Destructible objects? Check. Bendable vegetation? Check. Wind effects? Check. Anamorphic lens-flares that can easily blind you? Check. To put it simple; C3 looks gorgeous, even if its alpha stage (as Crytek suggests that this footage is from its alpha build). Crysis 3 is planned for a February 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. Enjoy! Continue reading Crysis 3 – Single Player ‘Fields’ Walkthrough→
