Brutal Doom is undoubtedly one of the best mods for Doom (at least in our opinion, and especially when the new Doom from id Software will be as gory as this mod). John Carmack on Doom, Quake & id Software: Our first game was basically a clone of Super Mario Bros

Doom – Quakecon Demo Displayed Visuals Really Close To Those Of The Pre-Rendered E3 Teaser Trailer

Since Doom was revealed behind closed doors – and as there is still no footage from it – a lot of gamers wondered whether the E3 teaser trailer packed in-game visuals or not. After all, Bethesda has never commented on whether the teaser trailer featured in-engine visuals or not. The Witcher 3 – CRYENGINE vs REDengine Comparison + Doom 2 Remake In Unreal Engine 4

Crydev member ‘qpffhtmxj’ has recreated in CRYENGINE the swamp level (or at least part of it) from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, giving us a glimpse at the differences between CRYENGINE and REDengine. While this fan-made map is being compared to a level created by a whole team (which doesn’t seem fair at all), it does show some differences in the lighting system of these two engines. In addition, you can find below a very early WIP map from ‘SahkanISR’ that shows what a modern-day remake of Doom 2 would look like in Unreal Engine 4. Enjoy!
