It appears that the latest version of the Denuvo anti-tamper tech has been cracked. This new version of Denuvo has been used in 2Dark, Nier: Automata, Dead Rising 4 and the latest version of Mass Effect: Andromeda. Denuvo explains why its anti-tamper tech was removed from DOOM, denies the rumours about special refunds

Last week, we informed you about the removal of the Denuvo anti-tamper tech from DOOM. Rise of the Tomb Raider – First real crack is now available

Man, what an unexpected turn of events. Yesterday, Denuvo fixed the bypass exploit that allowed PC gamers to run pirated copies of DOOM and other games. That bypass was discovered by Voksi and was based on DOOM’s demo. However, CONSPIR4CY was able to finally crack Denuvo, and has released the first working crack for Rise of the Tomb Raider. Denuvo has been defeated, first working crack for DOOM is now available [UPDATE: Rise of the Tomb Raider also “cracked”]

Well, this was bound to happen. DOOM was released almost 2.5 months ago, and it has finally been cracked. DOOM was protected by Denuvo, and it appears that crackers were finally able to bypass/crack this anti-tamper tech.
