Naturally, a lot of people were disappointed with them as the Optimum requirements demand the top-of-the-line Nvidia cards in order to be enjoyed. Deep Silver and Nvidia were quick to react and shed some light on those requirements, so keep reading. Continue reading Deep Silver & Nvidia Clarify Metro: Last Light’s Requirements, New Screenshots→

Deep Silver released today the second chapter of Metro: Last Light’s Ranger survival guide which aims to prepare the player against the hostile inhabitants of the Metro, both human and mutant. While deadly creatures control the desolate Moscow wastelands, the human survivors, having splintered into extremist factions, gangs of bandits, and the order of Rangers, try to maintain a hold on the tunnels of the Metro. To stand up to them, the player has the choice: will he try to sneak past the threats, save their lives and rare ammunition, or will he seek direct face-off to wipe them out once for all. Enjoy! Deep Silver has released a new set of screenshots for Techland’s upcoming zombie title, Dead Island: Riptide. Techland’s title is a great looker, especially due to its colorful environments. Yes, the game uses a – somehow – dated engine by today’s standards (and we’re pretty sure that there will be some LOD issues similar to its predecessor), however we get a ‘Crysis meets Far Cry’ feel from those freshly released shots. Dead Island: Riptide will be released on April 23, 2013 in the USA and Canada and on April 26, 2013 in European countries for PC, X360 and PS3. Enjoy! Deep Silver and 4A Games announced – via the game’s official FB page – that Metro: Last Light will be receiving a new DLC called the Ranger Mode. This DLC will add a new difficulty mode, a new weapon and 100 in-game military grade bullets. And no, we’re not joking around. Truth be told, this DLC was also offered for Metro 2033, however we find it ironic that Deep Silver decided to offer this ‘hardcore’ difficulty mode as a DLC. And that’s precisely why we think that DLC is the cancer of the gaming world. Continue reading Metro: Last Light’s DLC Exploited – Ranger Mode Offers A New ‘Hardcore’ Difficulty→
Gamespot has posted a 10 minutes gameplay footage from Metro: Last Light, showcasing a new area called ‘The Swamp’. Our guess is that this gameplay footage will be available during GDC (or PAX East), and it has scenes from a previous leaked gameplay footage we posted a while ago. It looks great and according to Deep Silver, Metro: Last Light will be one of the best games that we’ll be able to play. Enjoy! Continue reading Metro: Last Light – 10 Minutes Of New Gameplay Footage→
