Incoming Mass Effect 3 Patch – Face Import Issues Fixed

One of the worst issues I’ve experienced in ME3 was the inability to import my Shepard’s face. Sure, my new Shepard looks sexier and younger but let’s be honest here, most of us want to continue the story with the same character. Thankfully, BioWare has finally resolved this problem and the first patch of the game – that does not have currently any ETA – will include this fix. Mass Effect 3 – Mike Relm ‘Remix Earth’ Video

Mike Relm has created a weird – and at the same time interesting – rap/dubstep/electronic video remix for Mass Effect 3. Now I’m not a fan of this music genre but it’s cool to see the game’s voices in the actual song. The video cut is also pretty good. Truth be told, this video will leave you with a <<WTF>> expression in your face. Still, this is something that you don’t see everyday, so go ahead and watch it. Who knows, you might actually like it! However, after finishing the game, we discussed about it and felt the need to talk about its ending and why we consider it a great ending. Yeah, Mass Effect 3’s ending is fine, so get over with it. Baldur’s Gate website slightly updated, Atari has given the green light to this new project

A new Baldur’s Gate website went live a couple of weeks ago, suggesting that a new Baldur’s Gate game would be coming. Although there is nothing certain at this point, the website’s source code was updated a couple of days ago with some new quotes. Questions abound and no answers can be found as of yet. Are those new quotes addressed to the game’s fans or BioWare for abandoning the Baldur’s Gate franchise? Did BioWare want to ‘kill’ the franchise? Continue reading Baldur’s Gate website slightly updated, Atari has given the green light to this new project

SecuROM DRM is integrated into EA’s Origin service, traces of SecureROM in Mass Effect 3

A couple of weeks ago, Mass Effect 3’s executive producer, Casey Hudson, said that the Origin version of Mass Effect 3 would not be using an intrusive DRM scheme. According to Hudson, the game would require a one time, single authorization, and installs would not be limited. However, it appears that EA’s Origin service uses a version of SecureROM, a DRM system that is hated by a lot of PC gamers. In fact, a lot of gamers are boycotting all games that come with any form of SecureROM, and according to Reclaim Your Game, Mass Effect 3 on Origin uses a new form of SecureROM as its DRM. Continue reading SecuROM DRM is integrated into EA’s Origin service, traces of SecureROM in Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 3 ENBSeries Mod – Not Going To Happen Anytime Soon

A couple of days ago, we informed you about Boris Vorontsov plans for an ENBSeries mod of Mass Effect 3. Sadly, the modder decided to abandon those plans. Instead of concentrating on all the graphical issues of Mass Effect 3, Boris wanted to simply enjoy BioWare’s title which is understandable as who wouldn’t want to enjoy it, right? Another major problem is the game’s engine itself. Mass Effect 3’s high and low quality content are tied together like it was developed 7 years, meaning that it’s really difficult to adjust everything to the modder’s liking.
