New mind-blowing video & shots from BeamNG’s Next-Generation soft-body physics engine

As promised, BeamNG has released a new video to showcase the progress they’ve done with their physics engine that is imported into Crytek’s CryEngine 3. This new video shows off new cars, intervehicle collision, breaking glass, deformable objects, and various tweaks and improvements. What’s really amazing is that BeamNG’s physics are now running multicore which means they can simulate multiple vehicles (including collision) at over 60 frames per second. Incoming video for BeamNG’s mind-blowing CryEngine 3 physics system, teaser screenshot revealed

Remember that mind-blowing CryEngine 3 video that showcased some amazing, revolutionary soft-body physics? Well, BeamNG has been hard at work and will present – in approximately two weeks – a new video from the latest build of their physics system. Beam physics system has been implemented in CryEngine 3 and can calculate physics at 100fps. In addition, the company released a teaser screenshot that can be viewed below.
