Ah, it’s that time of year again. 2013 was a good year, full of surprises. It was also the year we got our first ‘next-gen’ titles, so it’s time now to see which are the top 10 PC optimized games of 2013. Before beginning, let us be crystal clear on this; we are not judging their gameplay mechanics. No no no no. We’re focusing on their tech side. New Battlefield 4 Update Addresses SLI/CrossFire Flickering Issues

Well that was quick. DICE has launched a new update for Battlefield 4 that addresses those annoying flickering issues that occurred on multi-GPU systems. This new update is 170MB in size and comes with some additional fixes for ‘three of the top crash issues on the PC platform.’ So, does this mean that the game will actually be playable this time around? Battlefield 4 – New Update Released, Breaks SLI & Removes Grass Physics

Well, we gotta give DICE and Battlefield 4 the award of best clusterf*ck, ever. So when Battlefield 4 was released, there was major flickering when SLI was enabled. With its second (or third) update, the game was fixed and was working fine with SLI systems. And then came another update that had a HUGE impact on the game’s SLI performance. And now with this latest update that has just been launched, that awful flickering is back with a punch. Way to go DICE. DICE Rolls Out New Updates For Battlefield 4 & Battlelog, Changelogs Included

DICE has released a new update for Battlefield 4, as well as a new server update for Battlelog. According to the release notes, these new updates come with various fixes, miscellaneous stability fixes that further reduce the number of client crashes and server side crash fixes, including the top seen crashes on R14. Battlefield 4 – New Update Released, Next Update Will Further Increase Stability

Electronic Arts and DICE have released a new update for the PC version of Battlefield 4. Although this patch does not bring any stability improvements to the table, the development team promised that its next update will further increase stability. Question now is when this ‘next’ update will hit the Internet and whether it will come with the promised Mantle support. This Is What Battlefield 4 Looks Like At 4K, Running On Four Titans

YouTube’s member ‘Zurvv’ has posted a video, featuring the 15 first minutes of Battlefield 4’s SP campaign and showcasing what DICE’s shooter looks like with Ultra setting at 4K resolution. Zurvv used four Titans in order to run BF4 at 3840×2160. Contrary to the previous video we shared (the one showcasing the game running at 1440p), this one gives the option to view it in all its 4K glory, so go ahead and take a look. Enjoy! Battlefield 4 Gets A Day-One Update On The PC

DICE has released a day-one update for the PC version of Battlefield 4/Battlelog. According to its changelog, this update features various improvements for the PC in-game Battlelog, fixes an issue that caused a memory leak, removes the Cancel button for finished Missions, and makes “Play Now” for Squad Deathmatch and Domination to work as intended.
