Battlefield 4 – Second Assault DLC Unveiled In This Latest Trailer

Battlefield 4 v5

Electronic Arts and DICE have released a new trailer for BF4, in which the game’s executive producer Patrick Bach discusses Second Assault, new vehicles, weapons and fan-favourite maps including Gulf of Oman, Operation Firestorm, Caspian Border and Operation Metro.

As DICE noted, Levolution events will be added to these map favourites, with familiar surroundings changing dramatically. In addition, the new BF4 games modes will be available for these maps, with Capture the Flag also making a return from the BF3 End Game expansion pack.

In short, Second Assault will feature:

-4 fan-favorite maps redesigned with the power of Frostbite 3, including Operation Metro 2014, Caspian Border 2014, Gulf of Oman 2014 and Operation Firestorm 2014
-5 weapons re-mastered for Battlefield 4
-Dune Buggy (DPV) vehicle makes its return to the Battlefield
-Capture the Flag game mode
-10 new assignments with their own unlocks

In unrelated news, the latest game update has crippled the performance on Nvidia cards. We don’t know what’s going on at DICE, but we lost not 5, not 10, not 15… but 30 whole frames with the latest update.

Here is hoping that DICE is not attempting to ruin the performance on Nvidia cards on purpose in order to give AMD and Mantle a bigger boost.
