Activision has released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 that teases the game’s Zombies Mode. According to the company, the full trailer will be released on September 26th. in the year 2025, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 propels players into global conflict featuring advanced weaponry, robotics, and drone warfare in a new Cold War scenario whose seeds are being sown in today’s headlines. When High Moon Games announced that they were not working on a PC version of its latest Transformers game, a lot of gamers got disappointed. You see, although Transformers: War for Cybertron was not as polished as we’d hoped to, it was still better than its console counterpart. Yes, there was a horrible 30fps lock – that was thankfully removed by modders – and there weren’t a lot of graphical options, but thanks to the Unreal Engine 3, the game performed great on the PC and there wasn’t any annoying mouse acceleration effect. And in a shocking turn of events, Activision stepped in and decided to let Mercenary Games handle the PC port of it and as a result of that, the PC version of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is the definitive. Activision has released a new DLC trailer for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron transports you to the final days of the planet Cybertron where you will experience the darkest hours of the apocalyptic war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Amazing news for Starcraft fans as the beta phase of Heart of the Swarm has gone live. According to Blizzard, this multiplayer-only test will initially be limited to a select group of pro-gamers, members of the press, Arcade contest winners, and shoutcasters. Beta test participants are not under NDA, so we’re likely going to see live streams of matches, screenshots, and casts of impromptu Heart of the Swarm. Activision has just announced that Modern Warfare 3’s Collection 3 Map Pack will be coming to PC and PS3 on September 13th. With its third DLC Collection, Modern Warfare 3 drops a combat-heavy care package of Special Ops Chaos mode, 4 new Special Ops missions, and 3 FACE OFF maps for the ultimate trifecta in solo and co-op gameplay. Activision and Treyarch have revealed some new details about Black Ops 2 PC, as well as the game’s minimum system requirements. According to the developers, Black Ops 2 has moved on to the DX11 API (that is backward compatible with DX10) and won’t support both DX9 cards and Windows XP. This is really shocking as Black Ops 2 does not sport next-generation graphics. In fact, it looks mediocre, even for multi-platform titles standards. The developers went ahead and explained their decision to move on to DX11, stating that Microsoft’s new API is leaner than DX9 and requires less CPU time to do the same amount of work. Activision has released a trailer for the fourth – and final – DLC Map Pack of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This Map Pack will feature five new maps, such as Gulch, Boardwalk, Off shore, Decommission and Parish. This DLC will hit X360 on September 6th and will come at a later date to PS3 and PC.
