Deadpool The Videogame – Vanilla vs SweetFX Comparison

Deadpool v2
Ah, the beauty of SweetFX. As we said in our Performance Analysis, Deadpool looked awful. Thankfully, the game’s visuals can be improved, though there is nothing that can be done for some atrociously low-resolution textures that have been used. Still, the game can actually look good now, and you can find a comparison between the vanilla version and our SweetFX settings below. Deadpool The Videogame – PC Performance Analysis

Deadpool
When Deadpool was originally announced, a lot of PC gamers got disappointed. Developed by High Moon Studios, this new super-hero action title was meant to initially hit current-gen consoles only. Thankfully, Deadpool PC was not delayed – hear that Ubisoft? – and the studio that handled it was no other than Mercenary Technology. So, time now to see how this game performs on the PC. Lucas Arts Being Shifted To A Licensing Studio, High Moon Studios Lay Offs Spotted

Lucas Arts
It’s a sad day today for all gamers as Disney has shifted Lucas Arts from a development studio to a licensing studio – resulting in a number of lay offs – and High Moon Studios suffered from lay offs right when Deadpool was about to get released. Do note everyone that none of these two studios are shutting down, although you could say that about Lucas Arts. However, Lucas Arts have not developed any memorable game in a long time and since that studio is now turned into a licensing studio, we may see more Star Wars games than you may think. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron – PC Performance Analysis

When High Moon Games announced that they were not working on a PC version of its latest Transformers game, a lot of gamers got disappointed. You see, although Transformers: War for Cybertron was not as polished as we’d hoped to, it was still better than its console counterpart. Yes, there was a horrible 30fps lock – that was thankfully removed by modders – and there weren’t a lot of graphical options, but thanks to the Unreal Engine 3, the game performed great on the PC and there wasn’t any annoying mouse acceleration effect. And in a shocking turn of events, Activision stepped in and decided to let Mercenary Games handle the PC port of it and as a result of that, the PC version of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is the definitive.
