Blizzard has revealed the changelog for Diablo III’s latest update that will go live tomorrow. Naturally, players won’t be prompted to download patch 1.0.4 until the patch is live in their home region. If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed. Additionally, if your home region is the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 1.0.4 is live until those regions have also patched. Activision has released the launch trailer of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. The PC version is being ported by developer Mercenary Games and will feature enhanced textures, lighting, and shadows and will have proper PC controls. Nvidia has released a new video in which they showcase the PC version of Borderlands 2. According to the company, Borderlands 2 supports PhysX and in this video, you will notice that the game includes an incredible number of particle debris that practically blow up in your face. Creatures, such as the Crystalisk, spew liquids that are live fluid particles and are interactive with the force of explosions. Moreover, many weapons include particle fluids, sparks and debris that add extra explosive action to your gaming experience. Borderlands 2 is available September 18th. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season of Content wraps up with the last two Content Collections — Collection #3: Chaos Pack and Collection #4: Final Assault — set to release on the Xbox 360 on August 9 and September 6, 2012 respectively. The Call of Duty: MW3 Collection #3: Chaos Pack, will introduce gamers to the brand new Special Ops Chaos Mode, in addition to offering three all new FACE OFF Maps and four new Special Ops Missions. Activision has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2012. According to the reports, Diablo III has managed to sell 8.8 million copies for the six months of its release and more than 10 million players have entered the world of Sanctuary. On the other hand, World of Warcraft’s subscribers number has dropped from 10.2 million to 9.1 million. An impressive number, nonetheless, but this drop is definitely something that worries both Blizzard and Activision. Perhaps the upcoming release of Mists of Pandaria will boost the game’s numbers. Our reader ‘Sid Spyker’ sent us an amazing video from Prototype 2. As we can see, in Prototype 2’s world there are some unique keyboards. Instead of the traditional keys, these keyboards have the buttons of a gamepad. This is clearly an easter egg, so don’t start criticizing Radical for including such a thing, although we have to admit that it’s a bit ironic how similar to this whole port this sequence actually is. In other news, we’ll slightly delay our Performance Analysis to Prototype 2 since there isn’t any official SLI profile – Nvidia stated that we might get some new beta drivers in the coming days, so stay tuned.
