Cyberpunk 2077 – PC versus PS5 Graphics Comparison Screenshots

Cyberpunk 2077 releases tomorrow and below you can find some comparison screenshots between the PC and the PS5 versions. These screenshots will give you an idea of the graphical differences between these two versions at launch.

In case you weren’t aware of, the PS5 version is exactly the same as the PS4 version (with the exception of higher resolution and smoother framerates). CD Projekt RED plans to release a proper next-gen update in 2021, however, this is how the game will look on the PS5 at launch. On the other hand, the PC screenshots were captured on Max settings and with Ray Tracing Medium.

Now as we all know, Cyberpunk 2077 does not support Ray Tracing in PS4 or Xbox One X. As such, the PS5 version lacks those effects. And, as you can see in some screenshots, these Ray Tracing effects can make the difference. Of course they come with a huge performance hit, however, they can at least improve the game’s graphics. Thankfully, PC gamers can also use DLSS 2.0 on the PC.

Enjoy the following comparison screenshots and stay tuned for our Ray Tracing & DLSS Benchmarks, as well as for our PC Performance Analysis. The PS5 screenshots are on the left, whereas the PC screenshots are on the right.
