New Wargame: European Escalation screenshots

Focus Home Interactive has released some brand new screenshots from their upcoming strategy game, Wargame: European Escalation. Wargame’s powerful engine, the IRISZOOM, animates all these units on incredibly huge maps as big as 60 square miles, which display over 100 million scenery objects. Wargame: European Escalation promises to let players control over 360 different units and vehicles faithfully modeled after actual units from 1975 to 1985 and is slated for release later this month. Alan Wake PC is coming on February 16th; new PC screenshots released

The time you’ve all been waiting has finally come. Remedy Entertainment announced today that Alan Wake will be available on PCs through Steam on February 16th and soon afterwards through other popular digital channels. Additionally, a boxed retail version of the game is coming soon. Steam pricing is confirmed as follows: $29.99 (game + DLCs) and $34.99 (LCE). Blacklight: Retribution Intel Report – Deadlock

Perfect World Entertainment has released a new trailer for one of the new maps that is available on their free-to-play FPS game, Blacklight: Retribution. Blacklight Retribution promises to set the new standard for free-to-play shooters, by fully leveraging Unreal 3 technology and implementing DirectX 11 to give gamers cutting-edge graphics that will blow away expectations as well as minds. World of Tanks Update 7.2 Revealed

Wargaming.net, the award-winning global videogame publisher and developer, announced today Update 7.2 for their world-famous free-to-play MMO World of Tanks that will introduce a wide range of new gameplay features.Along with two new maps – Live Oaks, the first map with North American setting, and Campania depicting traditional Italian landscapes – Update 7.2 will feature the long-anticipated substitution in top American heavies; the T34 (tier IX) and T30 (tier X) will be replaced with the M103 and T110 respectively providing well-rounded top-tier gameplay. Risen 2: Dark Waters – Third ‘Making of’ Video

Deep Silver and Piranha Bytes today released the third episode of the six part making-of series that will become available over the course of the next months until the release. In this installment the developers from Piranha Bytes speak about the new animation system that was created for Risen 2. Among other things, the developers reveal why the old animation system was completely replaced and what that meant for development, and how different combat animations are combined to create a combo attack. Game of Thrones RPG – Riverspring Trailer

Focus Home Interactive has released a new trailer for their upcoming Game of Thrones RPG that brings us to the troubled waterside town of Riverspring and Sarwyck Keep, the home of its ruling family. A vacant lordship and civil unrest greet Alester Sarwyck, one of the game’s two main characters, as he returns home after a fifteen-year self-imposed exile. He arrives as the town mourns the passing of his father, the elder Lord Sarwyck, forcing Alester to consider reclaiming rule of Riverspring and restoring order to his lordship. First Orbitron: Revolution PC Screenshots Released

Firebase Industries has released the first screenshots from the PC version of their indie game, Orbitron: Revolution. Orbitron: Revolution was previously available exclusively on XBLA and was running at 30fps. Naturally, the PC version was rewritten to accomodate with 60fps and Firebase aims to deliver an excellent PC version of their game and not a straight conversion of the Xbox 360 version. PC gamers, meet Anna; a brand new 3D adventure game with amazing graphics

Dreampainters,an Italian indie team, sent us word about their new 3D adventure game, called Anna. The team is set up by Simone “Karat45” Tagliaferri (design), Davide “3David” Del Sorbo (graphics) and the rest Dreampainters team (programming). And although I’m not a real fan of adventure games, I’m shocked at the screenshots that accompanied Dreampainters’ mail.
