Dreamcast fans, get ready for a treat. SEGA announced that Jet Set Radio will be coming to XBLA, PSN, and Windows PC Digital Download this Summer. Jet Set Radio lets players join the GGs, an up-and-coming street gang in the futuristic city of Tokyo-to, fighting for the right to self-expression against an overbearing, corporate-controlled police force. Steam’s Registry indicates that BioWare Classic Games will hit Valve’s Distribution Service

A while ago, we informed you about Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2 hitting Steam. Well, Steam’s registry got updated a few hours ago and some interesting BioWare classic games were added to it. According to Steam’s registry, Planescape Torment, Temple of Elemental, and both parts of Icewind Dale are coming to Valve’s digital distribution service. Could this mean that BioWare is preparing a Classic RPG Pack that will contain all of those amazing D&D games? We also know that a Baldur’s Gate website was launched recently. Sim City 5 – Artworks Leaked; New Graphics Engine and Multiplayer Mode

Leaks leaks leaks. It seems that every major game has suffered from leaks and we can add to that list Maxis’ upcoming Sim City game, Sim City 5. Spotted by NeoGaf, german magazine GameStar claims that Maxis is preparing the fifth part of this series for a 2013 launch and that the game is currently completed at around 30%. In addition, Sim City 5 will feature a new graphics engine, various cities, and a multiplayer mode. Maxis has promised that they’ll reveal something in GDC next week. Could this be Sim City 5? Rayman Origins Demo Is Now Available On Steam

Even though Rayman Origins PC is slated for release March 29th, PC gamers can already get a taste of it by downloading its free demo from Steam. Michel Ancel, celebrated creator of Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil, and the Raving Rabbids, returns to his roots to bring us Rayman Origins. Rayman Origins is a high-definition, 2D side-scrolling, platforming adventure with full four-player co-op that is already available on current generation consoles. Blizzard cuts 600 jobs; WoW development won’t be impacted

Blizzard Entertainment announced today that it has conducted a review of its business based on current organizational needs. Following a completion of the review, the company is conducting a global reduction in workforce of approximately 600 employees. The company anticipates approximately 90% of the affected employees will come from departments not related to game development. The World of Warcraft development team will not be impacted. Square Enix’s Gunslinger Stratos to be powered by the Umbra & Orochi Engines

Umbra Software, the premiere provider of rendering optimization middleware, announced today that ByKing has chosen to power it’s Gunslinger Stratos arcade game with Umbra’s rendering middleware. Gunslinger Stratos is published by Square Enix and comes with a four player arcade game and is built using Silicon Studio’s brand new Orochi game engine. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning – First DLC Announced

EA, 38 Studios, and Big Huge Games unveiled The Legend of Dead Kel, the first downloadable content (DLC) pack for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, the critically acclaimed open-world action role-playing game. Featuring a mysterious tale of intrigue, danger and dark magic on the island of Gallows End, players will encounter shadowy characters and new enemies, and will experience a host of new side quests, treacherous battles and exciting new challenges. The Legend of Dead Kel gives players access to Gallows End, a gigantic new continent to explore where players claim ownership of a vast personal estate and experience new weapons, Twists of Fate and other perks against new enemies. Borderlands 2 will be a Steamworks title

2K Games, Gearbox Software and Valve today announced an agreement to power all PC versions of the highly anticipated Borderlands 2 with Steamworks when the game launches on September 18, 2012 in North America and September 21, 2012 internationally. Currently in development by Gearbox Software, Borderlands 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed four-player cooperative shooter-looter that combined intense first-person mayhemwithrole-playing gameplay.
