We’ve been following the development of Ravaged for quite a while and we were really excited about it. And like most indie devs these past days, 2 Dawn Games decided to start a Kickstarter campaign for it. At first, I was shocked since we’ve already seen gameplay footage of it and the game is almost finished. And thankfully, the company is simply seeking to finalize marketing and publishing material for Steam, which is fine in our books. Capcom’s Svensson and Yoshinori Ono have released some interesting new information about the upcoming PC version of Street Fighter x Tekken. According to Ono, the PC version will not include the DLC on disc. A lot of fans began wondering the reasons behind that and Capcom’s moderator ‘Deva Ashera’ shared some thoughts about it. According to Deva Ashera, PC gamers are used to downloading large patches, which is what the DLC characters will end up as and that the worry about hard drive space is not as big of deal as on consoles since the game will be mainly distributed via digital stores. YouTube’s member ‘fryedegg’ has uploaded some new PAX 2012 gameplay footage from Hi-Rez Studios’ SMITE. Developed by Hi-Rez Studios, SMITE is a DoTA-style 3rd person action game where gods from various mythologies fight for supremacy in action-packed multiplayer battles, within beautiful environments powered by Unreal Engine 3. With the upcoming release of Dark Souls PC, we thought it would be appropriate to share our thoughts on the ideal and proper PC version of Dark Souls. Obviously, most PC gamers would love to see better textures and better graphics but let’s be realistic; that ain’t gonna happen. Remember that amazing Titanic scene that was powered by CryEngine 3? Yeah, the one that looked unbelievable? Well, we’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that this mod will get released. Yeah, that was not a simple benchmark and you will be able to walk inside Titanic. The bad news is that the mod is not coming anytime soon. There is also a possibility to not see it in 2012. Still, the team is dedicated to it and working as hard as they can. Although the game is announced as a ‘possible’ Crysis 2 mod, the team is exploring the idea of releasing it as a standalone game. We’ll be sure to keep you informed about its development. Reality Studios have released Project Reality: BF2 Vietnam. Project Reality: BF2 Vietnam is an add-on for the PR:BF2 v0.97 modification and in this addon the team has added 3 new factions, 4 maps, 20 new vehicles and 14 new weapons. The addon will be implemented in the upcoming v1.0 of PR:BF2 but – as the team suggests – it would be wise to download and install it as there are already many servers running the addon.
