You know what, I’m really hyped about World of Warplanes. Sure, World of Tanks is cool but seemed a bit slow-paced. World of Warplanes on the other hand looks great, fast-paced and fun. YouTube’s member ‘KPRTekey’ has uploaded some new gameplay footage from the game’s alpha phase and let me tell you that it looks gorgeous. Even if you’re not a fan of MMO games, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on it after watching this following video. And did we mention that it will follow the F2P model of World of Tanks? We are living in exciting times. Although GTX680 is a damn beast, we could very well see a dual-GPU topping it as Nvidia is preparing for a special announcement at GeForce LAN / NVIDIA Gaming Festival (NGF) 2012 in Shanghai, China. The company has revealed an image that shows a new card and if you can recall, that image was leaked a while ago. Croteam has released a new update for their action-ish FPS game, Serious Sam 3: BFE. This update comes with official Mac OSX support, as well as with cross-platform support between the Windows and the Mac builds. Moreover, the patch features various optimizations, fixes to memory leaks when re-importing the same mesh over an over in editor and support for multiple keyboards and mouses in split-screen on Windows. The Steam Digital and UK PC Retail charts have been announced and as we can see, Legend of Grimrock and Football Manager 2012 have managed to claim the top places, respectively. The UK PC Retail charts look similar to last week’s. Skyrim that was at the top place has lost three places, whereas Battlefield 3, The Sims 3, Shogun 2: Total War Fall of the Samurai have gained two places. And although The Witcher 2 has been available for over a year, its Enhanced Edition that was released last week can be spotted at the tenth place. Wolfire Games have released a new video in which David Rosen showcases the changes that have been made to the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. This week, Rosen added an active block, a scabbard wielding and sheathing, support for animating multiple weapons at once and more accurate stab decals. Overgrowth looks lovely and while we love the polishing and the attention to detail, we kind of hope that Wolfire Games will actually hit the beta phase pretty soon. Enjoy!
