You gotta love modders and mappers. You see, the reason why we need mod tools is because PC gamers can come up with some amazing ideas. Take for example nine30’s Desert Storm Map. Digital Extremes has released a new, alpha trailer for Warframe. Warframe is a cooperative 3rd-person action free-to-play game from the makers of The Darkness 2 and the upcoming Star Trek video game. It looks like Mass Effect 3 on steroids and is packed with lots of action. This is definitely a triple-A looking game and might be the best F2P game we’ve ever seen. Good news for XCOM fans as Firaxis will include specific UI features in the PC version of XCOM: Enemy Unknown. According to lead designer, Jake Solomon, PC gamers will be able to zoom in and out on the battlefield, a feature that will be present only on the PC version. Team 17 has released the intro movie for its new Worms game, Worms Revolution. Worms Revolution is based on a new 3D game engine and retains the same, 2D old-school perspective of the classic Worms games. In Worms Revolution, players will be able to use a team of all four of the same class if they prefer, or mix and match classes (Scientist, Heavy, Soldier and Scout) to get the best results.
