New Star Citizen Details; No monthly fee, estimated system requirements, full mod support

Wing Commander creator, Chris Roberts, and Cloud Imperium have unveiled some new details about their upcoming PC exclusive space combat game, Star Citizen. According to Roberts, Star Citizen will fully support mods, as players will be able and encouraged to mod the game when operating private servers. Mass Effect 3 – Groundside Resistance Weapons Pack Announced & Released

EA and BioWare have released a new weapons pack for the SP mode of Mass Effect 3. This pack adds to Shepard’s armory the Venom Shotgun, the Executioner Pistol, the Kishock Harpoon Gun, the Striker Assault Rifle, the N7 Typhoon Assault Rifle, the N7 Piranha Shotgun and the Acolyte Pistol. The pack is priced at $1.99, 160 MS/BW Points and is currently available on Origin, Xbox LIVE and PSN (European PS3 gamers will have to wait until tomorrow). Assassin’s Creed III – Official Multiplayer Trailer

Ubisoft has also released today the official multiplayer trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3. Assassin’s Creed 3’s MP will feature a variety of modes ranging from classic Deathmatch to co-op and team-based modes like Wolfpack and Domination. Assassin’s Creed 3’s MP promises to be the most compelling online experience yet. The game is planned for a November 23rd release on the PC. Enjoy! Far Cry 3 Texture Pack coming to Minecraft for Free on the PC in late October

Ubisoft has announced that they’ll be releasing a Minecraft inspired Far Cry 3 universe free for download on PC, on October 26th. The pack will allow players to explore and survive the Minecraft experience through the warped lens of Far Cry 3, with modifications to all aspects of the original game, including environments, weapons and tools. Overgrowth Alpha 193 Changes

It’s been a while since our last look on Wolfire’s indie bunny title, Overgrowth. And even though the team has been polishing it, the game is still in alpha phase. Nevertheless, Overgrowth looks like one of the best indie attempts we’ve ever seen and Wolfire has released a new video, in which David Rosen showcases the changes that have been made to its latest alpha build.
