Now this is a nice surprise. Our reader Gianluca Manocchio has informed about an interesting entry on ShopTo. As we can see, this online store has listed Injustice: Gods Among Us for the PC, even though the game has been announced for X360 and PS3. Since NetherRealm has not confirmed anything – and since we know that they don’t give a damn about the PC platform – we advice you take it with a grain of salt. Funny thing is that there is also a PC packshot for it. We’ll contact NetherRealm and try to find out whether this is true or not. You can view below a screen-grab from that PC item. Gaz Liddon, co-founder of Ruffian Games, has uploaded a video that showcases a cancelled project that was based on SEGA’s classic 2D scrolling beat’em up, Streets of Rage. According to Liddon, this video features some scenes from a playable prototype of Streets of Rage remake and it was something they built very rapidly and represents pre-pre-pre-pre (lots of pres) pre-Alpha quality. And thank God it was cancelled as we strongly believe that a SOR remake should keep its 2D scrolling mechanics. It’s okay to update its graphics, but why on Earth would someone make it a third-person game? But anyway, you can view the video below. Enjoy! Free-to-play fans, we got some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that Hawken, Adhesive Games’ F2P mech game, is scheduled to enter open beta next week, on December 12th. The bad news is that Path of Exile, one of our most anticipated action hack-n-slash RPGs, is delayed to January 2013 as Grinding Gear believes that a Christmas release is really dangerous and could possibly damage the game and its fanbase. Great news for old-school fans, as the entire Legacy of Kain series (well, apart from the very first game) has been spotted on Steam’s registry, suggesting that Kain and Raziel are coming to Valve’s digital distribution service.
