Ever wondered what Street Fighter 4 would look like with a first person perspective? Well, time to find out. YouTube’s member ‘pipocaVFX’ has recreated the Bricks Bonus Stage from Street Fighter II Turbo. Ironically, this video looks so good (and so close to the real deal) that could easily pass as a mod for Street Fighter 4. Naturally, this perspective might make you dizzy as that’s the biggest problem of FFPP (Fighting First Person Perspective) games that feature a complex set of moves. Nevertheless, it looks cool so go ahead and take a look at it! Continue reading Street Fighter 4 In First Person Perspective→
SEGA and Gearbox today unveiled the official PC system requirements for their upcoming aliens game, Aliens: Colonial Marines. According to the publisher and the developer, PC gamers will at least need a dual-core CPU with 2GB of RAM and 20GB of free hard disk space. Quite surprisingly – and contrary to Aliens vs Predator – Aliens: Colonial Marines won’t support any DX11 features, as it seems that it is a DX9-only game. Otherwise, Windows XP would not be included in the Recommended specs. Here is hoping that Gearbox will surprise us. The good news here is that the game also supports Windows XP. Aliens: Colonial Marines is planned for a February 12th release on PC, X360 and PS3, and you can view its PC system requirements – as well as a new TV commercial for it – below! In other words, this edited footage showcases what an episode of Top Gear, focused on Battlefield 3’s vehicles, could look like. It’s a really cool idea and did we say that the editing is top notch? The latest Top 10 PC charts have been revealed and as we can see, ArmA II: Combined Operations and Football Manager 2013 are the best selling titles on Steam’s digital and UK’s retail PC charts. Since this is a ‘dead’ season, it comes as no surprise that UK’s PC Retail Charts are almost the same with last week’s. WOW’s expansion, Mists of Pandaria, has climbed in the fifth place, and both XCOM: Enemy Unknown and The Sims 3: Late Night has managed to re-enter the charts. Amidst every blockbuster release each year, for some gamers, some titles just don’t stand up to the rest in terms of anticipation. This is maybe either due to a bad first impression from demos or due to the fact that they might be sequels to games that were disappointing. However, some of these games outperform their expectations and are ultimately a finer part of gaming. This personal list is a pick of those games which I believe were not only better than expected but also better than most games that year. Also do note that, these are not in any significant order and are only those that were available on all three major platforms which includes the PS3, PC and Xbox 360.
