Wildman Gets Canceled Four Days Before The End Of Its Kickstarter

Wildman
And it’s gameover everyone. Chris Taylor has canceled the Kickstarter campaign of Wildman, only four days before its end. To be honest, this Kickstarter would not hit its $1.1 million goal as it has only raised $504K so far. According to the last update of Wildman, at this point, it makes sense for them to focus their attention on other ways to keep Gas Powered Games running. Wildman
Gas Powered Games and Chris Taylor have unveiled the first gameplay footage of their upcoming RPG/RTS hybrid, Wildman. According to Taylor, this is extremely early development footage using an older version of their 3D rendering technology with the lighting removed and placeholder models and textures. For those interested in the new tech, Wildman will use deferred rendering and will look significantly better. Wildman features a fixed isometric/top-down camera like Diablo, or Dungeon Siege minus the ability to rotate the camera, and uses standard PC action-RPG controls. In addition, Wildman won’t use any kind of DRM and will support both Offline and Online modes. Enjoy! Continue reading Gas Powered Games’ Wildman Gets Its First Early Footage
