Now that’s why we love modders. Zbyl2, DarthStoney, Hassat Hunter & VarsityPuppet released an amazing mod for Star Wars: KOTOR 2. The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod intents to restore much of the cut content to The Sith  Lords, that was lost to the main game due to a rush to release the game. Skyrim Must-Have Mods – The Skyrim Distance Overhaul improves the game’s LOD quality

After presenting you the Texture Pack Combiner, here is another must-have mod for Bethesda’s RPG, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The Skyrim Distance Overhaul (S.D.O.) adds thousands of polygon-reduced objects to the distant-LOD of Skyrim to improve LOD quality. The performance hit will be around 10%, more or less. The programmer’s main responsibility will be to prepare CDPR’s engine for challenges of upcoming online component of their future games. Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar teases a new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2

Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar teased a new trailer for Black Ops 2 on his Facebook account. Vonderhaar uploaded the following image, which pretty much shows the square box that appears in – pretty much – every video game trailer. Our guess is that this might be the GamesCom trailer for Black Ops 2. Rumor has it that this trailer might have something to do with the zombies that will be featured in the MP mode of Black Ops 2. Dishonored’s missions are similar to the ones found in the Thief and the Deus Ex series

In a IAMA discussion at Reddit, Dishonored’s Co-creative Director, Harvey Smith, revealed that the game’s missions are inspired and based on the ones that were featured in two of our most favourite stealth video games, Deus Ex and Thief. Therefore, Dishonored’s missions in terms of depth, combination and flexibility will be identical to the ones from those two classic and beloved FPS games. Splinter Cell: Blacklist – New Screenshot Released

Ubisoft has released a new screenshot for Splinter Cell: Blacklist which showcases Sam’s ability to drag enemy bodies. Yes yes, players will be able to drag bodies in the latest iteration of Splinter Cell. In Blacklist, players will be rewarded by their ability to play stealthily/remain undetected. In other words, the stealth mechanics will be better than those of Conviction. Splinter Cell: Blacklist is currently planned for a March 2013 release on PC, X360 and Ps3. Enjoy! WRC 3 – New Gameplay Footage from Rally de España Stage

Black Bean has released a new gameplay video for Milestone’s upcoming rally racing game, WRC 3. Unfortunately, this gameplay footage is taken from an outside view, therefore we can’t see whether or not Milestone has improved the in-game cockpit view. WRC 3 looks way better than WRC 2 but it seems to be going deeper into its arcade nature. Well, at least the behind-the-car viewpoint is better than the awful one that was used in both WRC 1 and 2. Colorful indie title ‘Tink’ will be playable at this year’s GamesCom, more details unveiled

Munich’s Mimimi Productions today coloured in a few more details of its irresistible forthcoming 3rd person action adventure Tink.
