KUNOS Simulazioni released a new set of screenshots, showcasing the 599XX EVO, the fourth Ferrari car, for Assetto Corsa. According to its press release, this car represents the extreme, racing evolution of Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, with the same transaxle layout end engine type, and it is conceived for exclusive track use. Electronic Arts has released the first screenshot from the new Need For Speed game that is currently under development. Although we don’t know much about it, the image is accompanied by the ‘Have no rules, show no mercy’ comment. Let’s hope that EA will reveal more later this week. And it’s time to boycott the PC version of Fifa 14. As we said a couple of hours ago, we were uncertain whether the PC would be getting the next-generation version of Fifa 14. After all, Ignite was announced for next-gen consoles and it has been confirmed that its PC version will be based on its ‘old-gen’ version. Well, that was a given. DICE and EA have announced – via the game’s official FB page – that Battlefield 4 will be also coming to Xbox One (as well as PS4, but that was also a given). In addition, the companies have released a new screenshot from the next-gen version of it. Battlefield 4 is planned for release on October 29th, and will be powered by Frostbite 3. EA Sports has showcased its next-gen engine during Microsoft’s Xbox One event, and has just released the trailer for this brand new engine. According to EA Sports, games that will be powered by the Ignite engine will feel more ‘alive’ with Human Intelligence, True Player Motion, and Living Worlds. EA Sports did not tag PC for this engine, so here is hoping the company won’t pull another ‘Fifa old-gen version’ on us. Microsoft has officially announced Xbox One, the next Xbox console that is planned for release later this year. During this event – which was disappointing to say the least – Activision has revealed the official trailer of Call of Duty: Ghosts. Call of Duty: Ghosts is planned for release on next-gen platforms and will be powered by a brand new engine. Quite honestly, we don’t see anything that we haven’t seen in Crysis 3.
