Well, that is if the Mayan prediction was not accurate enough and the world doesn’t end tomorrow (though we all know that we’ll be just fine and nothing ‘bad’ will happen). So, our dear readers, we’re presenting you our Top10 most optimized PC games of 2012. Before starting, let us tell you that our Top10 is based on those games’ performance under DX9 and DX10. DX11 did not take off in 2012, and that’s why we did not focus on it. However, our GTX690 will serve us well in 2013, so rest assured that our upcoming Performance Analyses will also cover this API. Far Cry 3 – Patch 1.04 Released, Improves Overall Stability & Features Lots Of Fixes

Seems that Ubisoft is really supporting the PC version of Far Cry 3. Yes, the team has not addressed the DX11 performance as of yet, however it has already rolled out 4 patches for the PC version that fix a lot of gameplay issues. Among other things, this latest patch improves stability, fixes one hell of bugs/issues, fixes several crashes, adds some tweaks for the Map Editor, and introduces new options the hide the HUD. Crysis 3: The Train Yard Gameplay Trailer

Crytek and Electronic Arts have released a new gameplay trailer for Crysis 3, in which Prophet and Psycho will need to make an explosive entrance to escape the overgrown NYC train yard. This gameplay trailer shows off the amazing tall grown grass, and made us wish for a Jurassic Park game. Seriously, the scene when Prophet witnesses the CEPH running throw the grass blades screams for a Jurassic Park mod. Crysis 3 is scheduled for a February 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3. Enjoy! Paramount Pictures and Namco Bandai Games today revealed that STAR TREK The Video Game will be released on April 26, 2013, in Europe and Australasia. Moreover, the legion of eager Star Trek fans and gamers will be able to place their order soon, as STAR TREK The Video Game‘s preorder program will be starting in the coming weeks at participating retailers. STAR TREK will bring an original adventure to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC at retailers and via digital download for PC and PlayStation 3. Gearbox announced that the next DLC of Borderlands 2, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, will be released on January 15th on all platforms. In addition, the company has released a new trailer for it that can be viewed below. According to its description, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt teams the Vault Hunters up with Pandora’s most dignified huntsman, but the expedition quickly goes awry thanks to the interference of a new, unknown enemy. The War Z Developers Finally Admit That It Was Their Fault For Misleading Players

Man, things got out of hand with The War Z. Yesterday we posted a lengthy feature for it, and here we are today with another news story for it. Sergey Titov, The War Z’s executive producer, has spoken to both GameSpy and PCGamer. In his first interview with GameSpy, Sergey sounded like a complete… well… you know what. Thankfully, it seems that Sergey has realized how foolish he was for acting like that, and finally admitted that it was their fault for misleading people over the Steam release of The War Z.
