DaveTheFreak has released a total conversion for Doom 3 that is called Desolated – The Crying Fate. According to its description, this TC offers many features such as different game-modes, 3 difficulties where the game changes, a RPG-System, Quests and many many more. The downside is that this mod requires the base Doom 3 game, meaning that in order to play it you’ll have to install it. And let’s be honest; there isn’t a lot of people with Doom 3 still installed. Nvidia has released will release tomorrow a new set of beta drivers for its graphics cards that offer an updated SLI profile for Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag and ensures maximum performance and system stability across all titles. According to its changelog, this new beta driver is mainly dedicated to Ubisoft’s title, and it most probably addresses the ‘black_screen_while_taking_screenshots’ issue we reported on our Performance Analysis article. Warner Bros, Telltale Games Traveller’s Tales and The LEGO Group today announced LEGO The Hobbit, the latest addition to the popular LEGO videogame series that aims to bring to life the legendary stories from Oscar-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit Trilogy. As the press release reads, the game will be available in spring 2014 for Xbox One, X360, PS4, PS3, PSVita, WiiU, Nintendo 3DS, as well as Windows PC and Mac. SEGA’s Football Manager Series Prevails, Electronic Arts Cancels FIFA Manager Series

And SEGA (and Sports Interactive) have officially beaten Electronic Arts. At least that’s what we make out of an open letter in which the big publisher confirmed that it is cancelling its FIFA Manager series. As EA’s open letter claimed, ‘the football manager genre at this level of sophistication is highly specialised and primarily played in two countries (England and Germany), in which – on top of everything – one game has practically dominated the market in recent years.’ And that title is no other than Football Manager.
