Things are definitely not looking good for both Crytek and the new Homefront title. Last month, we informed you about the difficulties the German studio is currently facing and today, Kotaku reported that the game’s director has resigned. A couple of days ago, we had the pleasure of interviewing Kevin Floyer-Lea, Head of Programming at Rebellion. Kevin shared some new details with us about the tech features of the Asura Engine, its Multicore CPU capabilities, and the ‘Obscurance Fields’ setting (that most of you didn’t know for what it was responsible for). Deus Ex: Human Revolution Environment Recreated In CRYENGINE

Polycount’s member ‘jovcem’ has been working on a map, inspired by the universe of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. jovcem was building this map in UNITY but decided to switch over to CRYENGINE as he wasn’t happy with the results of his UNITY-based map. jovcem seems to have finished working on this map, and decided to share some screenshots from it, giving us an idea of what a direct CRYENGINE port of DE: Human Revolution would look like.
