Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor – Ultra Versus High Textures Comparison [UPDATE]

Our dear friends over at PCGamesHardware have released a comparison between Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor’s Ultra and the High textures. As we can see, the differences are minimal – to say the least – and at this point we have to wonder what exactly is consuming this amount of VRAM, especially when The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter presented higher quality textures with way less VRAM requirements. Battlefield 4 – Game & Server Update September 30th Detailed

DICE has revealed the changelog for today’s Battlefield 4 update. DICE will be updating the game itself and its servers on all platforms, and there are some specific fixes for the PC version. This update brings a lot of vehicles improvements, weapon rebalances and fixes, brings a better post-processing filter for medium graphics settings, and adds a FOV slider for the chase cameras of all vehicles. The Legend Of Korra – Behind-the-scenes Video Shows New Gameplay Footage

Activision has released a behind the scenes video for Platinum Games’ The Legend of Korra. The Legend of Korra is a single player, action-packed brawler, in which Korra’s mastery of martial arts and the four elements – fire, earth, air and water – can be used on the fly to bolster her combos and counters against foes. Dragon Age: Inquisition – New Gorgeous Screenshots Revealed

Electronic Arts and Bioware have released a new set of screenshots for their upcoming RPG, Dragon Age: Inquisition. Dragon Age: Inquisition is powered by DICE’s Frostbite 3 engine and promises to be better – in every way – than its awful predecessor. The game is currently planned for a November 18th release. Dead Island 2 – EGX 2014 Developer Gameplay Walkthrough

During this year’s EGX event, Deep Silver and YAGER held a developer session for Dead Island 2, in which the development team showcased some new gameplay footage from it. Dead Island 2 picks up the Dead Island and Escape Dead Island storyline several months after the events on the Banoi islands, and promises to offer an action-packed playground featuring the acclaimed, seamless multiplayer for up to eight players who cooperate, compete or simply coexist in a truly social, new-gen multiplayer experience.
