Project CARS Will Support 12K Resolutions, Will Pack The Largest Track Roster

Bandai Namco has released a new official trailer for Slightly Mad Studios’ Project CARS. Project CARS will be coming to PC on March 17th, and the publisher has also listed the game’s key features. According to them, Project CARS will pack the largest track roster of any recent racing game, a fully dynamic weather and TOD system, support for over 40 different wheels and peripherals, and support for both 12K resolutions and Oculus Rift. Sid Meier’s Starships Announced, Coming In Spring 2015, Announcement Trailer Unveiled

Dying Light – Here Are The PC Graphics Options, Features NVIDIA GameWorks Effects

Dying Light is almost upon us and Guru3D’s member ‘Kezen‘ has shared an image showing the game’s PC graphics options. As we can see, PC gamers will be able to adjust Textures/Shadows/Foliage/FX quality, enable/disable NVIDIA’s Special Effects, and increase the map size of Shadows up to 4096. Naturally, there are also options for VSync and Refresh Rate, though there is – as expected – no option to adjust FOV. Dying Light releases next week. Enjoy and stay tuned for more! Here Is What A HD Remake Of “Jak II” Could Look Like In CRYENGINE

Deviant Artist Floordan has been working on a new CRYENGINE map based on Naughty Dogs’ Jak II game, and has recently released a video from it. As with all similar videos, this gives us an idea of what a HD remake of that old title would look like in modern-day game engines. It looks cool, so be sure to check it out. Gears Of War Map Recreated In Unreal Engine 4 [Finished Project]

As we’ve already informed you, Dave3d has been working on an Unreal Engine 4 map based on Epic’s Gears of War. Dave3d first recreated the map in UDK and then moved his project to Unreal Engine 4. Yesterday, the artist finished the map, showing two screenshots from its Unreal Engine 4 version. We’ve also included below the UDK images so that you can see the differences between these two versions (and the benefits of UE4).
