TJ Townsend has informed us about a new 2.5D shmup he’s been working on. We’ve shared TJ Townsend’s work in the past (he’s the man behind the HD concept art remake of Metroid) and Pythetron looks really interesting. AMD Catalyst 15.3 Beta Driver Released, Adds AMD Freesync Tech Support
AMD has released a new beta driver for its graphics cards. The AMD Catalyst 15.3 Beta add support for AMD Freesync technology, includes new Crossfire profiles for a number of games (such as Project CARS, Battlefield: Hardline and Total War: Attila) and improves other Crossfire profiles (for games like Assassin’s Creed Unity, Alien Isolation and Ryse: Son of Rome). Mortal Kombat X Introduces “Quitalities”
In its latest MKX livestream, NetherRealm Studios revealed that Mortal Kombat X will feature “Quitalities”. What this means is that whenever your opponent quits a game, his head will be blown up. Naturally, the winner of such a match will be you. It’s a nice little touch, though we’d love to see something that would actually panish quitters. Game of Thrones: Episode 3 – Brand New Screenshots Released
Telltale Games has released a new set of screenshots from the third episode of its Game of Thrones video-game series. Game of Thrones’ Episode 3, “The Sword in the Darkness”, picks up where February’s “The Lost Lords” left off. There is no doubt that Hideo Kojima is one of the most talented video-game designers and producers. A couple of years ago, Hideo wanted to put an end to the Metal Gear Solid series, something that Konami did not accept. I mean, how can you end a franchise that has been so commercially successful to a company, right? Well, it seems that this day – at least for Hideo – has come, as Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be his last MGS game.
