Angry Mob Games has announced a new competitive platform fighting game called Brawlout. Brawlout’s platforming elements and win conditions were inspired – as the title suggests – by Super Smash Bros, while the various combat moves and ground combos were largely inspired by games like Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. DOOM benefits greatly from Vulkan – Vulkan versus OpenGL Performance Comparison

id Software has just released a new patch for DOOM that adds support for Vulkan. Naturally, we went ahead and tested some scenes that were performing poorly under OpenGL 4.5. And we are happy to report that id Software has nailed it as DOOM runs way, way, way better under the Vulkan API. Grand Theft Auto V’s graphical overhaul mod, GTA5Redux, will be released on August 26th

Josh Romito has announced that his graphics mod for Grand Theft Auto V, GTA5Redux, will be released on August 26th. GTA5Redux promises to feature brand new, 4k, fire, explosion, smoke, particle effects, and new debris textures, as well as newly worked physics and explosive reactions, as well as an entirely overhauled weapon system.
