Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment have released a new major update for Crossout, the popular vehicular action MMOG that has attracted a staggering three million players in its first month alone. This update adds two new game modes; Big Black Scorpions, an acrobatic deathmatch for swift players with fast reflexes, and Clan Wars, which sees organized survivors fight for territorial control over the planet’s rarest resources. Playerunknown’s Battleground is the 4th game with the highest peak player count on Steam, closes to 5 million units

Playerunknown’s Battleground appears to be a huge success on the PC. According to Steamcharts, Bluehole’s battle-royale title has managed to top Grand Theft Auto V and has climbed in the 4th place of Steam’s games with the highest peak player count of all time. Not only that, but according to Steamspy, the game closes to 5 million sold copies, even though it’s still in its Early Access program. Might & Magic Showdown has been removed from Steam, servers to be shut down on July 31st

Back in January, Ubisoft released Might & Magic Showdown. And in just six months, the French company decided to cancel it and has already removed it from Steam. Now that is a huge flop. And to be honest, we aren’t really surprised by such a thing as this new Might & Magic game felt like a really niche title (and the Might & Magic series is already a niche genre so… yeah… it was to be expected).
