At this year’s TGS event, Capcom showcased the “Not a Hero” DLC for Resident Evil 7. YouTube’s ‘RabidRetrospectGames’ has captured the footage and shared the video, showing 12 minutes of gameplay footage from it. The Steam version of BLUE REFLECTION will render 2D images at 720p, “we hope you will accept this”

KOEI Tecmo has stated that the Steam version of BLUE REFLECTION will render images at 1280×720. Now while the external resolution will be unlocked, KOEI Tecmo confirmed that the images will be stretched once PC gamers choose a higher resolution (which will obviously result in blurry visuals). Intel’s 8th generation desktop CPUs to offer up to 25% performance boost in multi-threaded PC games

Intel has issued an official press release in which the company claimed that its new 8th generation desktop CPUs will be up to 25% faster than its 7th generation desktop CPUs in multi-threaded games. Intel used Microsoft’s Gears of War 4 as an example, in which the new Intel Core i7 8700K performed 25% faster than the Intel Core i7 7700K. The Evil Within 2 will be powered by the STEM Engine; custom-built engine based on idTech

While The Evil Within was a really interesting game, it suffered from some really awful performance issues on both consoles and the PC. And when its sequel was announced, a lot of us wondered whether it would be powered by the id Tech 5 or the id Tech 6 Engine. Well, it appears that neither of them will be powering as Tango Gameworks has developed a new engine that is based on the id Tech Engine, called STEM Engine.
