AMD has just released a new major driver for its graphics cards. According to the red team, the AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition 17.12.1 adds a new Overlay feature (default ALT+R) allowing management of certain Radeon Settings features while in-game or on desktop such as Radeon ReLive, Radeon FreeSync, Radeon Chill, Frame Rate Target Control, Display Color, and Performance Monitoring. When Tango Gameworks revealed that The Evil Within 2 would be powered by the STEM Engine, we were a bit worried about its overall performance. You see, both the STEM and the Void Engines are based on the id Tech Engines. Well here is a nice surprise. The Evil Within 2 releases later today (in just an hour) and it appears that it will not be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.
